What is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. A search engine is a system that finds and shows related websites to the keywords you put. A robot works inside it and you have to find the best keywords for your website so that the robot can find your website easily. If you can set keywords that are easy for robots to prefer, your website is more likely to be displayed at the top of search results. If you don't help robots with optimizing your keywords, robots can't find your website and you won't have enough visitors on your website.

Before thinking about the robot…

Before creating a website by selecting keywords that are likely to be favored by robots for SEO measures, do not forget the premise of creating content that benefits users. As Google says, they are thinking about benefits for users. If you are creating content that is convenient for users, Google will find you on the website. There are no criteria about how they judge your website contents, therefore try and error is important to grow your traffic.

How to create beneficial content with keyword

  1. Keyword setting

  2. Problem setting

  3. Problem-solving

1. Keyword setting

Keyword planner by Google is the tool that you can set your keywords. Also, you can check your keywords with Uversuggest.

By entering a keyword related to your content or service in the search field, it will automatically search for keywords related to them. Then select keywords with relatively high search volume. Search volume is the number of times users searched for the word.

If you are running a coffee shop, you can put "cafe", "coffee" or "coffee beans".

However, it is not a good thing to put too many keywords on website pages. Just sprinkle it into headlines and body text.

2. Problem setting

Think of keywords users might search for and set issues related to keywords or that people who search for such words may have.

Such as...

"10 recommended cafes in Vancouver"

"Vancouver morning coffee"

or

"How to make good Esspresso"

"Tips for choosing coffee beans"

You can think about content from the user's point of view by setting issues based on keywords that users are searching for or are likely to search. You can express yourself that you are open early in the morning, or you can introduce your beans by explaining tips to choose coffee beans on your website.

3. Problem-solving

Content that does not answer the task at all is meaning less. Consider user needs and create consistent content.

Be Specialized

If you want to rank high in search results, it's better to focus on niche topics.

  • Authoritativeness

  • Trustworthiness
